Alchemy Author Services & Writing Workshop is an established editing business providing every type of author service a writer needs when producing work and requiring placement of their manuscript. Alchemy Writing Workshop is the parent to the author services side, providing volunteer-run workshops and classes for those who are not in a position to attend an MFA or writing retreat due to financial obligations, family, or both. Interns will work on and learn about:

  • The editing and author business
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Program & Event Planning and much more!

This Job Is:

An ideal fit for someone who would like to “take the reins” on projects and have creative freedom

A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more

An excellent job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education

Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.

Alchemy Author Services has partnered with the Mile High MFA program and Regis University to offer students to intern and learn all about editing, the publishing world, agents, pitch and queries, manuscript evaluations, as well as the marketing end of a business including content writing, marketing, and social media campaigns!


I tell my students, ‘When you get these jobs that you have been so brilliantly trained for, just remember that your real job is that if you are free, you need to free somebody else. If you have some power, then your job is to empower somebody else. This is not just a grab-bag candy game.
